Shèr Valère Thompson is an operations and service-delivery leader with over 20 years of experience supporting high-volume, compliance-driven service environments across healthcare-adjacent, public sector, and small-business settings. Her professional background reflects deep expertise in operational coordination, customer service, and frontline service systems. These experiences make her uniquely positioned to oversee program execution and day-to-day operations at Resilient Healthcare Institute (RHI).

 

Shèr brings a rare blend of institutional systems experience and entrepreneurial leadership. In addition to her background in government and healthcare-adjacent service roles, she is the founder and owner of a childcare and early learning business she has successfully operated for seven years. In this role, she has overseen all operational, compliance, scheduling, client relations, and service delivery functions, demonstrating sustained leadership in a regulated, people-centered environment.

Financial & Regulatory Compliance Expertise

 

Most recently, she served in the Annuities Account Services industry, where she managed fixed and deferred annuity accounts in a high-volume, compliance-intensive environment. She oversaw distributions, beneficiary and ownership changes, and contract amendments while ensuring regulatory accuracy and documentation integrity. Her role required meticulous record management, billing reconciliation oversight, and collaboration across internal teams, strengthening her expertise in financial compliance, operational accountability, and systems-driven administration.

Public Sector & Workforce Systems Background

 

Earlier in her career, Shèr served in the Employment Security capacity with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, where she worked directly with claimants navigating unemployment systems. This role required strict adherence to state policy, detailed documentation, fraud prevention, and high-stakes customer communication; experiences that translates directly to compliance-aware operations, reporting accuracy, and stakeholder accountability.

 

Her professional experience also includes healthcare-adjacent roles supporting pharmacy operations, including customer-facing coordination related to prescription processing and prior authorizations, as well as care coordination support functions.

 

Across these roles, Shèr developed a reputation for reliability, clarity, and calm problem-solving in high-volume, emotionally charged service environments.
